Is Clearing Cookies, Temp and Temporary Files Necessary?

You should clean the Cookies, Temp and Temporary Internet files at least once a week. There are a lot of spyware that gets left on your computer when surfing. Not only do you get spyware but you could also have some viruses so make sure you run your virus scan at least once a week also.

How often should I do a System Restore?

You should so a system restore at least once a week. You should also do a system restore before applying any new software or updates you are not sure about. System Restore will allow you to take you computer back before the install was done. Watch the Video

How do I remove start up programs

Removing the start up program will help your computer boot up faster. You should leave your Anti-Virus program running at start up. Go to Start button > Run > and type in "msconfig". This will bring up the properties box and you need to click on the Start Tab. You will then UNCHECK the programs you do not to start up. You will be asked to restart you computer; do this. After the computer starts up again you will see a box with a check box in it. Put a check in it and close the box. You are done. Watch the Video

Can I change anything in the registry

You can change things in the registry but you need to make sure you do a system restore point or back your system up. ONE VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: if you don't know what you are going to change then DON'T.

Some of the basic keyboard short cuts are:
Ctrl + A --- Selects everything in a window
Ctrl + C --- Copies selected items
Ctrl + X --- Cuts selected items
Ctrl + V --- Pastes cut or copied items
Ctrl + Y --- Redoes an action
Ctrl + Z --- Undoes an action
